Gloria C Rull has over 20 years of extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller positions, managing administration, accounting and finances and overseeing management of human resources & facilities management for manufacturing and service oriented companies. Gloria was the Corporate Controller for CECO Environmental a manufacturing public company in Conshohocken, PA from 1986 to 2000. She moved to the West Coast and was the Chief Financial Officer for Circuit Automation a privately owned manufacturer of high-tech equipment for the printed circuit board industry in Irvine, CA from 2000 to 2003. She was the Corporate Controller for Healthcare Management Partners, LLC, in Irvine CA from 2003 to 2008 of which she is a current shareholder.
Gloria has multiple university degrees. She earned a degree in Chemistry from the University of Santo Tomas, in the Philippines prior to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania.
Gloria began pursuing her entrepreneurial passion by providing retirement planning and risk management in 2008 exclusively with New York Life and was a consistent Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Member in the Worldwide Industry from 2008 to 2017. She was a premier President Council Agent on her first year and has been a council agent for the last 10 years with New York Life.
Gloria is an active volunteer community leader. She has selflessly offered her time, talent and resources to help small business owners, non-profit leaders and professional agents learn how to become successful in their businesses and community. She was the President of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County (FACCOC) in 2009 and is still currently a Mentoring Board to date. She is the 2012-2013 President of the Asian Business Association Orange County (ABAOC ) and still a current Mentoring Board Member.
In 2009, Gloria was the recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Orange County Chapter (NAWBO-OC)’s Remarkable Women Award in recognition of her contributions mentoring women business owners and board members of FACCOC. She also received the Outstanding Community Leader and Businesswoman Award in July, 2011 from the Los Angeles Maharlika Lions Club. She was awarded ABAOC’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 and also FACCOC’s Past President Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.
The U.S. Small Business Administration of Southern CA awarded Gloria the 2015 Women Business Champion of the Year. At that 52nd Small Business Week Awards she received the 2015 Small Business Community Impact Award from Wells Fargo.
