May 17, 2022. This year’s event was back in person! Attendees were treated to an array of different program features – a keynote “fireside” chat with Amanda Ma, CEO of Innovate Marketing Group, an informative resource panel on “banking products for your business,” and finally a special panel of local government representatives, business leaders and the FBI on “the affect of Asian hate on the business community and how to prevent it.”
GRIT: Growing Revenue through
Innovation & Technology
April 21, 2021. This year’s event focused on how business owners can utilize innovation and technology to drive their revenue growth. This year’s keynote was delivered by Christie Nguyen, Co-founder of Studio 18 Nail Bar and of Nailing It For America. She discusses how she came to be successful in business and the utilization of innovation and technology in growing her business and communicating the message for her non-profit org.
SBDD 2020: A Virtual Event
August 6, 2020. This year’s event was the first ever virtual signatrure event put on by ABAOC. We brought together the same great content we would have at a normal in-person event, except this time creatively utilizing the features and technology provided by Zoom. Our keynote speaker was Cole Zucker, CEO of Green Creative. Content included a Banking Panel and a Jobs Outlook Panel, as well as a Mayoral Fast Pitch competition and vitual exhibitors.
BizMatch: Business Matchmaking 2022
November 10, 2022. Leveraging the new core capability of producing virtual events, BizMatch 2022 was separated out from BizCon this year and delivered as a virtual event, allowing for a greater reach of potential suppliers AND corporate/government buyer to participate. The event featured a “Buyer Showcase” where buyers were given the floor to pitch their needs and requirements for doing business with them, and potential qualified suppliers were instructed to engage with them offline or virtually through our dedicated event landing page.
BizCon: Business Convention 2022
August 31, 2022. BizCon is one of the hallmarks of ABAOC’s annual events and this year we were back in person! Boasting one of the largest event attendances in the organization’s history, the event featured a keynote address by the Pinnacle Global Network CEO, Allison Maslan, followed by our popular Mayoral Pitch, Inspirational Women Panel, and the Business & Procurement Panel, and full Exhibitor Hall.
Taking Care of Business
October 20, 2021. The largest of ABAOC’s annual signature events, this year we presented the theme “Taking Care of Business” as we looked towards how businesses could maximize their business’ recovery efforts. BizCon/BizMatch was again hosted on the vFairs virtual platform to maximize virtual reach and delivery of a rich experience. Businesses gained access to valuable resource content and could participate in buyer/supplier matchmaking sessions.
November 5, 2020. At this virtual event hosted on the VFairs platform, we continued with the excellence of last year’s event, we have brought back several elements to the program that are sure to provide great value to business owners and professionals seeking to transform their business. The program features a fascinating panel of speakers on the Diversity and Procurement Panel, Inspirational Women Panel, Business Matchmaking, and Business Expo.
New Heights in Business
August 29, 2019. ABAOC’s biggest signature event of the year was back at the Delta Hotel by Marriott. This event featured more of what people have come to expect and appreciate about our annual convention: educational workshops, exhibition hall, the Mayoral Fast Pitch competition, the Procurement Panel and for the first time ever, the Inspirational Women Panel. Then of course the event is capped off with the BizMatch business matchmaking sessions where prospective suppliers have one-on-one interviews with corporate and government buyers.
